While most facilities receive assistance to purchase food, they might not have enough for children who enjoy an extra snack during the day. A way that you can donate to an orphanage is by donating food. You could also make food baskets with non-perishable items so that the orphanage has things on hand in an emergency.
Toys
Since there are usually children of all ages in an orphanage, you could donate some of the toys that your children no longer play with or those that your friends and family members might have. If you want to give new toys, then consider holding a collection drive so that people can donate money or unwrapped toys for a few weeks maybe during a holiday season.
