Whether you’re swimming or fishing, activities that involve water are usually exciting for most people. However, if you include water inflatables, there are more options that include bouncing around or being pulled by a boat. Here are a few tips about how to safely use these additions in the water so that you have a fun day whether it’s on the lake or in a pool.

Safety Straps
There are usually a few safety straps on most inflatables that secure them to the shore or a dock. These straps keep the inflatables from floating away while they are being used. Keep in mind that there are some products that you can sit on that are designed to float in the water, but you still need to wear the proper safety gear and monitor your distance from shore or from a boat so that you don’t get too far away.

Children
When kids are using water inflatables, you need to monitor them at all times. Consider setting up the inflatables close to the shoreline so that there is a shorter access way to reach them in the event that an emergency situation arises. An adult should stay in the water with the children as well while the inflatables are being used.

Overcrowding
If you’re using inflatables in a pool, only put one or two in the water. If the pool becomes too crowded, it could lead to a safety issue because of the number of people using the equipment and being in the water at the same time. Even though there’s more space for a few inflatables in a lake or even in the ocean, avoid setting up more than a few at a time to try to limit the number of people who are in the water at once and to keep too many people from using the inflatables at one time.
