Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG is a form of crude oil and natural gas that is filled with hydrocarbons. It is non-toxic and does not have any odour. Moreover, it is clean burning and an environment-friendly fuel having almost zero levels of pollutants. The greatest benefit of the LPG pump is its portability. If you want to learn about the key applications of LPG, keep reading this article.

Applications of LPG Pump

Being a multipurpose fuel, it is considered as an alternative for many applications- residential, commercial, agribusiness, industrial, autogas, etc.

Residential

When natural gas is not present, an LPG pump can be used. You can use it for cooking, heating water and space, and drying. Cooking with other fuels, such as wood or kerosene can pollute the surroundings but with LPG, there are fewer chances of pollution.

Commercial

Many commercial places such as hotels, restaurants, schools, and bakeries depend on LPG. It can supply heat continuously that can be maintained at the desired temperature.

Agribusiness

Agribusinesses use burners run by LPG. These burners are adjustable and consume comparatively less fuel than other burners.

Industrial

The use of LPG can be found in the construction, ceramic, textile, metal, and glass industries. Apart from a pump, it comes in cylinders or bulk tanks.

Autogas

Autogas is used mainly for vehicular usage. Across the world, approximately 14 million vehicles run on autogas and it is the most widely used alternative to petrol/diesel.

Apart from the LPG pump, there are a vane pump and flo pump. A Vane pump is a self-priming displacement pump that provides continuous flow at various pressures. Flo pumps, on the other hand, are pumps made of metallic and plastic materials.
