Cigar smokers, on the other hand, mostly flavor the taste of the smoke in their mouths; this is why traditional, premium cigars are usually quite large in size and can take considerable to time to smoke.

It could take an hour or more to smoke a large cigar; which is fine for some people on some occasions; but, not always practical. Say; that, you are with some non-smoking companions and enjoying a fine, multi-course meal in a no smoking restaurant; you are a habitual cigar smoker and you know that there is usually a 10 to 15minute break between course servings and you are dying for a smoke. Your companions won’t mind if you disappear outside for a short while; but not for the hour it might take to smoke a full cigar.
